The Redwood Civil Emergency Board (RCEB) was established in 1957 to coordinate civil defense and public safety operations throughout Redwood County.

Over the decades, the Board has managed responses to natural disasters, technological hazards, and unusual occurrences.

Our mission is to maintain the safety, preparedness, and continuity of the community through meticulous planning and cooperation with local, state, and federal agencies.
